Jova was born & raised in Macedonia. While growing up she took part in performing at events & festivals (among them were the songs "Da peeme za Mir" - Kalinka 1992 & "Ekskurzija" - Tins Fest 1996. After finishing High School she moved to England & enrolled at the highly acclaimed music school "Vocal-Tech". Her first album "Hourglass Diary" was released in 2007 on iTunes & cdbaby.com.
Jova's first recordings earned critical acclaim from Garageband.com when her song "Here And Gone" was voted acoustic track of the week and was awarded 4 times Best female Vocals. Home was licensed for the film "Home Grown", and "Be Happy" was featured on the Billboard Magazine's quarterly compilation CD.
Jova's creative partnership with American song-writer/producer Ken Rose began when he heard her voice on a song he mixed for her in 2002. He was immediately touched by her voice and style but didn't actually meet Jova until 2006 when he moved to London. Their creative partnership began with songs in her native language and received recognition in Macedonia. In 2008 Jova was awarded best new artist at the Ohriid festival with her song "Se Raduvam i Taguvam" (Happy And Sad). She was also a finalist for Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Jas Sum Ovde" (I am here).
Last year Jova and Ken began working on new songs and are ready to record a new record that captures Jova’s gifts for the international marketplace.
